SMOK Novo 2 Open Pod Kit (800mAh)
SMOK’s Novo 2 is a pocket friendly AIO vape kit, with some impressive second generation upgrades over the popular original model. The compact design has identical outer dimensions, but with only 3 grams of extra weight (43g vs 40g) the battery capacity has been increased from 450mAh up to 800mAh: enough power for 3 days of use, with roughly 200 puffs each. The wattage range has also been increased from 10 - 16W up to 6 - 25W, for thicker vapor clouds and increased flavor.
Novo 2’s pod housing has been updated with intake channels on the outer edge to increase airflow, and a groove at the base raises the electrode connection allowing condensation created to be temporarily locked, preventing leaks or spitback. The draw activated firing sensor has been redesigned and repositioned as well to prevent contactless suction automatically firing the atomizer. The LED indicator light hidden beneath one of the new resin patterned side panels has also been updated to change color depending on battery level (Green > 70%, Orange: 30 - 70%, Red < 30%), glowing while the device is in use or charging (micro USB).
Refillable 2mL press fit Novo 2 pods also have the same design as the original with a built in coil, silicone fill port, and sloped mouthpiece. A Novo 2 Mesh 1.0Ω Pod that produces thick vapor clouds and has low draw resistance for direct to lung vaping is pre-installed, and a Novo 2 DC (double coil) 1.4Ω MTL Pod with pure taste and a tighter draw for mouth to lung vaping is included with the kit. A Novo 2 Quartz Coil 1.4Ω Pod is available separately, and the entire Novo pod family is compatible with both generations of the device.
